OH WHAT A NIGHT!

A NIGHT WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

Our amazing Ventura High School teachers competed for the mirrorball trophy! A play on the tv show "Dancing with the Stars", Ventura High Dance paired up with VHS teachers to compete in all different genres of DANCE!

Our show featured Elizabeth Botello-Lopez, Linda Bergfeld, Craig Carey, Jennifer Eggertsen, Grace Ellberg, Elisia Stawiecki, Elizabeth Mainz, Arden Smith, and Jose Luis Sanchez!

With special guest judges Principal Rodriguez (student/teacher extraordinaire!), Mrs. Rossiter (VHS Drama Teacher & Dance extraordinaire!), and VUSD School board member Trustee Sabrina Rodriguez!

There were featured performances by the Ventura High dance team, hip hop team, and Dance Rhythmics classes.

At the end of the evening, the audience got to vote on who they thought which team were the winners, and, drum roll please…..MR. SANCHEZ AND HIP HOP TEAM MEMBER JARETZI HERNANDEZ TAPIA took home the 2024 mirrorball trophy!
