2023-2024 Dance Team and Hip Hop Team Auditions

Don’t miss out on auditioning for our Dance and Hip Hop team!
Tuesday, May 2nd, Wednesday, May 3rd, and Thursday, May 4th from 3:45-5 PM will be our dance team auditions in the VHS Dance room (room 40)! A reminder that dance team typically performs in the genres of Jazz and Contemporary. The first two days will be a workshop where you learn the audition dance, and Thursday will be the audition! You MUST be present for the audition on Thursday! Please wear movable clothing and bring lots of water with you!
Tuesday, May 9th, Wednesday, May 10th, and Thursday, May 11th will be our Hip Hop Team auditions from 3:45-5 PM in the VHS Dance room (room 40)! A reminder that Hip Hop team typically performs in the Hip Hop dance genre! The first two days will be a workshop where you learn the audition dance, and Thursday will be the audition! You MUST be present for the audition on Thursday! Please wear movable clothing, sneakers, and bring lots of water with you!
Please note that you can audition for BOTH teams, however if after auditions you have made it onto both teams, you MUST choose one team to be on.
A reminder that dance and hip hop team is a class and part of your school schedule, you will earn PE credit for being a part of a team.
Please note that if you are not placed on dance or hip hop team, you will automatically be placed into either the Dance 1 or Dance 2 class based off of if you have taken Dance 1 before so that we can refine and work on your technical skills during the school year in order to make the team the following year.
